New Home Completed

With the help of many generous donations we were able to complete the construction of our 5th home in the fall of 2017, opening the door for five core members from our waiting list. We look forward to helping them reach their fullest potential through faith, family, and friendship.

A fundraising campaign to help us become mortgage free on this home is currently underway. Find out more about how you can contribute here

County Farmer Directs America's Farmers Grow Communities Donation to Friendship Ark

Farmers Make a Difference in Rural Communities by Directing Donations from Monsanto Fund’s America’s Farmers Grow Communities Program to Local Nonprofit Organizations.

• The America’s Farmers Grow Communities program will provide more than $3 million in financial support to nonprofits across the US in 2017
• Since 2010, the America’s Farmers Grow Communities program has given more than $26 million to more than 8,000 nonprofits across rural America.

Story County farmers David and Mary Christy have won the opportunity to direct a $2,500 dollar donation from the America’s Farmers Grow Communities program, sponsored by the Monsanto Fund, to Friendship Ark. We will use these funds to help us build our fifth home. We look forward to serving five new core members in this location, helping them to achieve their fullest potential through faith, family and friendship.

The Grow Communities program’s purpose is to make a positive impact in farm communities by partnering with farmers to support the causes that are important to them in their communities.

Friendship Ark Homes and Community Services provides a variety of supports that allow individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to thrive.
