Title: Core Members help Calvary United Methodist Church with Preparation for Annual Live Nativity

Two groups of core members enjoyed time preparing and celebrating with Calvary United Methodist Church for their annual Live Nativity. The first group helped Calvary get ready for the event by spreading hay in the stable, placing cut out animals and the nativity, making a crock pot meal and preparing books to hand out. They then celebrated by singing Christmas carols while drinking peppermint punch and eating strawberry Santa hats. The celebration continued as they made thumbprint cards and ornament crafts and got to dress up in the costumes of the Nativity. The second group volunteered by sorting and completing an inventory of treats for the Calvary Food Pantry. They tested and replaced pens in the pews, helped organize and count supplies and some helped change a bulletin board. After volunteering they enjoyed all of the same activities as the first group. Thank you Calvary United Methodist Church for including us in the preparations for your event and arranging such fun activities for us to participate in!
