Title: Raising Funds at Ragbrai

Our staff got up EXTRA early this morning to head to Nevada to greet the RAGBRAI riders as they were coming into town. We were raising funds for special core member activities and had Gatorade, water, bananas, almonds and protein bars available for a free will offering. Who knew bananas were so popular? The Nevada, Iowa Lions Club allowed us to team up with them and set up at their pancake breakfast held at the Nevada Fire Department. Thank you both for your outstanding hospitality! Later in the morning several core members joined us and we had a great time watching the bikes go by and interacting with the riders. We even got in a little RAGBRAI dancing.
