Title: Friendship Ark Site Coordinator Recognized with IACP DSP Award

We are so very proud of Friendship Ark Site Coordinator, Cassie Shivers, for being named a recipient of the Iowa Association of Community Providers 2019 DSP Awards!

From her nomination: Cassie goes above and beyond in her role, empowering core members to reach their fullest potential. She shows patience and compassion in a way that allows core members to trust her enough to try things that are out of their comfort zone. Cassie is always willing to lend a hand to her fellow co-workers or take on additional duties to help out her supervisor. She does so with a smile and a positive attitude regardless of what she may be going through herself. Cassie wants to be a part of the solution and problem-solves how to address concerns rather than just pointing them out.
