Title: United Way of Story County Day of Caring Volunteers Help Prepare New Home

We appreciate the hard work of our group of volunteers on United Way of Story County's Day of Caring to help us scrub the basement floors of our new home to prepare it to welcome five additional core members. This task is a necessary step in the construction clean-up process that will allow us to be move-in ready later this fall. We thank our volunteers for their time and effort and United Way of Story County for coordinating this county-wide event each year.

United Way of Story County's Day of Caring is an annual event held every September, following the LIVE UNITED campaign kickoff breakfast. Businesses provide volunteers who help agencies complete projects around the county. From painting to landscaping to cleaning to reading, when you get that many people helping, it's a true county-wide Day of Caring!
