Title: 2023 Story County Volunteer of the Year - Peggy Lowary

We would like to introduce to you the 2023 Arc of Story County Volunteer of the Year, Peggy Lowary! Peggy has been volunteering with us for more than a year, 1-2 times each week. She can often be found crafting with us at The Link on Mondays, bringing homemade cookies, and giving the best hugs to all of our core members (and staff!) She brings so much love, kindness, and support to not only our core members but to staff as well. Peggy has a selfless heart that brings out the best in everyone, we tell Peggy how lucky we are to have her which she responds with, “Oh, I am the lucky one! At 86 years young we are envious of her drive and energy! Peggy, thank you so much for being a part of our Friendship Ark family!
